Junior Surfing Scheme Log Book.jpg

The Junior Surfing Scheme has been developed to allow students to learn to surf in an exciting, effective and safe way.

The aim of the scheme is to support, inform and reward progression in this exhilarating sport. The scheme is made up of several competency levels, which cover the fundamentals, surfing safety, skills and freestyle ability.

               Level 1: Catching Waves

               Level 2: Up and Riding

               Level 3: Improving Techniques

To take part, you must be aged between 8 and 18 years old and be able to swim 50 metres unaided.

As with any school trip activity, safety is paramount. Our surfing lessons are delivered by an approved surfing school, headed by European No.2 Pro Longboarder Adam Griffiths.  All instructors are fully qualified surf coaches and lifeguards. They also have a comprehensive child protection policy, an emergency action plan and public liability insurance up to £5 million.
